TOLEDO LAW REVIEW'S 2023 LEGAL SYMPOSIUM:
ATTACKING AND DEFENDING THE ADMINISTRATIVE STATE

The University of Toledo Law Review is proud to present its 2023 Legal Symposium: Attacking and Defending the Administrative State on Friday, October 20th, 2023, from 9:00 am- 2:15 pm.

From environmental regulations to student loan forgiveness, recent Supreme Court cases hinged on the Court’s interpretations of the limits of agency power. The symposium panelists will explore the changing contours of the federal administrative apparatus due to action by the President, Congress, and the Supreme Court. The event will feature panels on 1) The Major Questions Doctrine; 2) The Unitary Executive; and 3) Agency Expertise. The symposium intends to educate the public on how the empowerment or disempowerment of government agencies affects all of us.

The symposium has been approved by the Ohio Supreme Court for 3 hours of CLE credit.
